Loved my really really nice stay for 3 nights. The full English breakfast was perfect with plenty of food. The staff was amiable, as well as owner. This hotel was located in a central area just off great restaurants as well as the centre of Ambleside. Plus it was just walking distance from Bridge House.

We appreciated staying in the place thanks to perfect location and atmosphere. The room was tidy with an extra single bedroom and had tea and coffee making equipment, a multi-channel television, and ironing facilities.

The check-in was smooth, we loved English bar. Breakfast was large, they offered eggs and cereal. Room was heated and also had a bathtub. Easy check-out too. Restaurants and bars close to it.

Staff were brilliant, hotel was fairly clean, set in great area short walk to the town centre as well as Ambleside. It was an excellent stay, you could leave a car nearby.

Beds were spacious and overall the room was airy & absolutely spotless. The stay was really lovely because of the beautiful location of the property. It was a short walk to Zeffirelli's, where you can have dinner.

The room was ideal, we also enjoyed the free parking. The breakfast was tasty, with a wide range of cereal and bacon. The service was PERFECT, totally satisfied. Peaceful location to skelwith fold.

totally a great experience. apart from that, jenkin crag was 15 minutes away by driving. good restaurant onsite and nice views. when i arrived the host was helpful.

Comfortable beds, room tidy. Wabi Sabi, which can be found only 600 m away, was a fast dining option.
